Early Travel Mistakes
When I was in college and early in my career I used to buy flights based solely on the cheapest price. I now count these decisions among my other silly youthful mistakes! When you know better, you do better and I now know that it is totally worth it to pick 1 airline and build your loyalty points with them. It’s an easy choice for me because I live in ATL and am a Delta girl through and through 🔺 🐘 It’s rare, but sometimes Delta isn’t the cheapest flight, but I still buy it because my miles and airline status provide SO much comfort when traveling, especially internationally. From first class upgrades to Sky Club access and forgiveness when my bag is ridiculously overweight 😂 Delta is loyal to me because I am loyal to them. Bonus tip for my fellow travel sports parents- I always pay cash for my higher cost international flights even if I have the miles to cover them so I can save my miles for free basketball and cheer travel tickets
